The dental implants do not need extra care. They require the same care as natural teeth: daily brushing, flossing, regular dental checkups, and regular professional cleanings. Although the implant teeth do not tend to decay, the absence of good oral hygiene can infect the tissues around the gum. Therefore, ensure oral hygiene to make it last for a lifetime.

Strictly speaking, implants do not contain any living cells or genetically coded material. Therefore, the probability of your body rejecting a dental implant is zero. They are biocompatible and have rare allergy chances.
The only way your implant fails to integrate with your jawbone is the development of infection in the absence of good oral hygiene or if it is forced to bite too soon.
